In erster Linie herrschen Zweifamilienhäuser (in der Mitte geteilt) mit Wohnküche und guter Stube im Erdgeschoss und zwei Schlafräumen im Obergeschoss vor; zu jedem Haus gehörte ein Stall. Zur Siedlung zählten zwei Konsumanstalten, eine Bierhalle, zwei Kindergärten und zwei Schulen.[en]Workers estate for the workers of the coal mine "Hannover" and "Hannibal". Typically the semi attached houses (devided in the middle) gave two families a home holding a breakfast kitchen, a sitting room on ground floor and two bedrooms upstairs; a shed belonged to each house. The estate was completed by a grocer's shop, a beer-hall, two kindergardens an two schools.
